Blake and Taylor: 2011

OUR LOVE STORY

March 9th: I was at work and I received an email from Erin Cook saying:

Hi Taylor!
How are you doing? I was wondering if you had a boyfriend, or are dating anyone? The reason I'm wondering is because if you're not, would you be interested in going out with my brother Blake? I was trying to think of a cute sweet girl to line him up with, and I thought of you!

I was pretty excited when Erin asked me. I remember texting my sister right away telling her about it. :] Later that day Blake called me and asked me to go on a date with him to the Jazz game on Monday.

March 14th: Our first date we went to Costa Vida at the Gateway for dinner then went to the Jazz game. We even got to go on the floor and be in a contest during a quarter break. It was such a fun night! :]

March 16th: Blake asked me to come hang out with him after his basketball game since I was leaving the next day to go to Mesquite with my family for the weekend. After his game we went to Farr's and got ice cream then we went to his house and watched the movie Unstoppable.

Every time we talk about this night Blake always makes fun of me because for the first half of the movie my head was turned so weird and I didn't dare say anything about it since I was too shy. Now we just laugh about it! :]

March 17th - 21st: I went to Mesquite with my family and the whole time I couldn't stop thinking about Blake and how much I couldn't wait to hang out with him again:] That night when I got home I went and watched Blake's basketball game then after we watched a movie. While we were cuddling on the couch he said to me "I really want to kiss you but when people ask you where was your first kiss? I don't want you to just say it was on Blake's couch." So that night when he dropped me off he kissed me on the doorstep! :]

That day I kissed my best friend and fell in love with him! We have seen each other everyday since then! :]

People always said how being in love and knowing the person you'd spend eternity with is the greatest thing ever but for me I've realized it is much different then that. It's so much better! :]

After a little over a month of dating we knew that we didn't want to be with anyone else. We decided that we wanted to get married September 22, 2011 in Salt Lake Temple! :]

April 24th: Easter Sunday:] We went and had breakfast at Blake's house. His cute mom and sisters made us breakfast and decorated his kitchen so cute! :]

After Breakfast we opened our Easter baskets. Blake got me so many cute things I loved everything but the sweetest one is the charm he gave me for my bracelet and he said to me when people ask you what the story is behind that charm you can tell them it was the day I asked you to marry me:] then he got down and one knee and purposed to me! Easter will always have two special meanings to me now.
